The construction of a block of six classrooms has commenced at the Isawo Junior High School, in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, by the representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson.
Hon. Taiwo Abimbola (OWOMILOWOMI), Majority Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA, who facilitated the project for the ward he is representing as a Councillor announced its commencement. It is expected to be completed in three months.
Hon. Owomilowomi announced the commencement of the project that will contribute to the existing facilities in the school when completed, on his Facebook page on Saturday.
“It is with great joy that I announce to the good people of Isawo and Ikorodu West LCDA that the foundation laying of a block of classrooms in Isawo Comprehensive Junior High School has commenced. This important project, designed to last just three (3) months, marks another giant step in the development of our community, especially in the area of education.
“The project will deliver one block of six (6) standard classrooms, which will go a long way in providing a conducive learning environment for our children and easing the challenge of overcrowding in our schools,” the local council legislator said.
He thanked the Ikorodu federal lawmaker for his continuous support especially for the progress and development of his community.
“On behalf of the people of Isawo, I want to sincerely express our profound gratitude to Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member, Federal House of Representatives, for his continuous support and for facilitating this landmark project. His commitment to the progress of our community and the future of our children is highly commendable.
“We look forward to the successful completion of this project and to many more developmental initiatives that will uplift Isawo and its environs.
